New Door Color

It’s been 9 years since we painted our brick. It’s holding up beautifully. We haven’t had to touch up at all. So for all of those people who are afraid to paint your brick for fear you will need to repaint every few years, take heart. Just make sure you do all the prep and use good paint.

Anyway, I decided to repaint the front door, and add shutters. For now I will have to settle for just the door. It will probably be a while before Randy has time to build the shutters.

Window Boxes Complete

My husband is a rock star!!! How cute are these window boxes???

As you can see from the photo below, I ended up choosing chocolate brown for the front door.


Landscape lighting ordered today. Hopefully it will be installed by the end of next week.

The makeover is almost complete. :)
